Boston man. Boston. The only city with white gettos in the entire US. Now they're all russians, but it used to be the Irish who had control over the city. And Aerosmith ofcourse. And a gigantic Technical University. It is clear that Rock 'n' Roll had more chance of succeeding than NU-Soul or hardcore hiphop. More American than The Peasants is almost impossible.Very radio friendly straightforward Rock 'n' Roll, choirs bouncing punkriffs here and there and in every song at least one exploding solo. The nice thing is that the title of the song always comes back in the chorus. Easy-listening one might say but The Peasants made it an art of making songs that stick in your head. When you listen for the second time you will surely say "Hey this again!" There also is a big chance you'll be having difficulty sitting still when you here the grooves these guys pass out. In short, an OK recording if you like uncomplicated rock with a bite and very catchy. |
